Base pay $20/hour + incentives

Multiple Shifts: 4am - 2:30pm Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon & 2pm - 10pm Thurs - Mon

JOB SUMMARY:

***  This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to be 1099 Independent Contractors not employees***

• Safety is key at Capstone, so we perform inspections of the vehicle prior to and after operation

Daily Functions:

• Will operate sprinter vans/trucks acting as an  Independent Contractor Delivery Driver / Yard Marshall  for a major grocery retailer
• Warehouse Work: rolling pallets on/off or vans as needed
• Provide excellent and reliable delivery service using a company provided sprinter van/small truck.
• Assist Delivery drivers if vehicle were to go down while on a Route.
• You will support and participate in Safety Team meetings to ensure open communication
• Complete daily logs to ensure proper reporting and measurement of productivity
• Communicate with other shifts to provide a seamless transition and maintain efficiency
• Read work orders determine work assignments to identify appropriate equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
• Ensure the yard is clean and organized
• Trailers are safely spotted and remain damage free
• Sit or stand for periods (concrete flooring and changing temperatures
• These are CONTRACTOR positions & start up/standard industry deductions will apply

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• A valid driver's license (CDL NOT required)
• DOT Medical Certificate (can be obtained through contract)
• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic
• Self-motivation with ability to work with limited supervision
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate changing operational needs
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of up to 25-75lbs. materials handled vary
