Traveling Home Equity Specialist

As our Traveling Home Equity Specialist, you will:

• Travel to assigned branch locations to conduct in-person Home Equity loan closings with borrowers.
• Review and explain loan documents to ensure borrower understanding and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain professional, friendly, and informative interaction with members during the loan closing process.
• Accept and complete Home Equity loan applications in person when needed.
• Learn and utilize the Home Equity processing system to assist in loan tracking and workflow management.
• Prepare and assemble Home Equity loan closing packages when necessary.
• Ensure all documents are properly signed, notarized, and completed before disbursement.
• Collaborate with loan processors, underwriters, and loan managers to ensure smooth and timely closings.
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to real estate lending and consumer protection.
• Provide backup support to the Real Estate Team as needed.

Requirements:

• High school graduate
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate lending, preferably with Home Equity products.
• Strong knowledge of real estate loan documentation, closing procedures, and compliance regulations (e.g., RESPA, TILA, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Valid REAL ID driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Comfortable with frequent travel to multiple credit union branches.
• Ability to learn new systems and adapt to process changes.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus (preferred)

Hours:

M-F 9:00AM-5:30PM (occasionally 6pm) Rotating Saturday 9:00AM-1:00PM
